Last week I bought a bowl of delightful primroses, which I adore,  for $12.99.  They have been a fantastic investment, so far. They have given our family hours of joy just from their brilliant colors, lively shapes and freshness, and a break from the doldrums of winter.

See the birds in flight?  They are harnessing power from the brilliant sunset so that they have enough energy for the day.  Cats and other animals find a nice spot to lay down and catch the rays.  I don't know about you, but the warmth coming into my window on a chilly day is soothing, relaxing, and energizing.  This painting was made with frugality of color.  A couple of reds, an orange and some black. The sideways drips engage the eye in a new way.

A small colorful contemporary abstract.  My monitor shows it slightly brighter than the painting actually is.  The colors are truly lively and brilliant jewel tones.  It will liven any corner when matted and framed.  I don't create many of these, but I sure have a ball putting them together.
