On a frozen lake at the Broadmoor near my home, love happened before my eyes. These swan beauties are so passionate, so breathtaking, that they cannot be ignored.  What do we know of true love and lasting romance?  

Peoples and tribes have copied the plumage and the dance of courtship of birds from the beginning.  Humans are unfortunately not given the finery of feathers nor the iridescence of colors that delight. Hang this romantic painting above your mantle or over your bed.  Send it to someone you dearly love.  The subtle gray greens and gentle  apricot fog contrast with the dark plumage.

Our favorite holiday is tomorrow!  Over and over we thank God for our beautiful family and friends.  We thank Him for their smiles that warm our hearts, for their eyes that sparkle with health, for their goodness to others, their gentleness and kindness, and for their listening.  They are like a soothing rain on my soul, and sunshine on our backs.  They are like rainbows that color our lands.  These are our treasures.

I made these pretty one of a kind painted acrylic on glass, sparkly Christmas balls with you in mind. Bunnies and birds to bring you cheer and let you know Christ's Day is near!

See the birds in flight?  They are harnessing power from the brilliant sunset so that they have enough energy for the day.  Cats and other animals find a nice spot to lay down and catch the rays.  I don't know about you, but the warmth coming into my window on a chilly day is soothing, relaxing, and energizing.  This painting was made with frugality of color.  A couple of reds, an orange and some black. The sideways drips engage the eye in a new way.

Feathers have always fascinated me. Imagine how God put them together so perfectly in myriad colors and sizes and  distinct divisions that cause a bird to take flight.  Feathers cover the whole body and keeps them warm even though their bones and legs are so thin.  Wonder of wonders to me, who knows nothing about ornithology.  Imagine a world without birds!  I cannot.
