A moment in time, when all of nature's glory is splashing at once. Solid rock, azure water, and green foliage.  Putting toes into that icy water on a sun warmed day, you wonder why the fish are so abundant.  I can barely move when I am cold, running for a jacket and shivering.  Clever fish.

Boldly taking over the plant filled bucket with a contented smile, "Sunshine" feels safe and warm .  She thinks she is hiding, yet really doesn't give a hoot if you don't like it.

I have entered 3 waterfalls into the PPWS international Watermedia today.
They are all from the Rocky Mountains from photos I have taken and converted into paintings .  Yet when I look at the paintings from children's imaginations, I feel stilted and uncreative.  My work comes from seeing something and more or less copying it.  Children's work is freeing and delightful, colorful and imaginative.Their work comes totally from the heart.  Can I attain to that?  I sure hope so.  Hmmm....think like a child, think like a child.

Portrait of Bean the Chihuahua

Bean is a very loved tiny chihuahua and he knows it. He sleeps a lot, snuggling comfortably into big blankets and pillows.  He can also be found stealing chewy bones from his best friend, Bailey. His bark sounds ferocious, but watch him tremble when he is afraid.

Mighty Max

Max was given a big name for his future life, but he currently looks very innocent and lightly worried.  It must be time to eat.  He doesn't know he has that cuteness factor, but he definitely makes me smile with all that touchable fur and whiskers.  Thanks goodness for animals in our lives.
