Lacy Lilacs, Daffies and Tuliips

9.5" x 8.5" watercolor on Arches 140 lb paper  $150.00

My friend, Elaine used to grow the most gorgeous flowers for our church decor. We would cut them on Sat. morning and arrange them for the altar.  When they were ready to go up, I reveled in getting my face in the petals and green leafiness for a full intake of freshness and fragrance.  That "bouquet" would last me all through the week and enhance my spirits.  Also the friendship and hard work of the gardener that went into the planning and caring for such an amazing array of plants would send my spirits soaring.  Thanks Elaine!  Then I also was given the privelge of photgraphing them.
