"Enigma"

9" x 15" original watercolor on Arches 140 lb paper  $250.00

This painting laid around the house for 25 years as just the rocks and the tree, but it had something I liked.  Perhaps it was the grayish, misty colors.  One day it attracted me to it and told me about the bushes in the park on a snowy day with blue shadows.  I complied as my brushes wet the paper and bled in the soft fuzziness.  The twin towers seemed appropriate for the background beyond the snow field.  It saddened me a little, but also got me to thinking that maybe it would mean something to someone.  I do love this painting now.
