"Dana Point, Where the Starfish Live" #1

On a recent trip to CA, we were privelged to visit the ocean and be with family. My granddaughter Krystal and her dad, Tony, climbed this rock to get a glimpse of the starfish living there. Gotta love the fresh chilly, salty air, rolling waves that chase you, sounds of intense power and enormous forever views where you can collect your thoughts.

"The Old Tire Swing"

The tire swing hangs over the shallow water near an old turquoise bridge, (which I decided not to put in), down in Cheyenne Canyon. I couln't resist adding a couple of children to round out the painting and give it more life. The trees were already bare and the golden leaves floated on the top of the water on a crisp, but not cold afternoon.

Sam, Lauryn and Spencer are 3 of my grandchildren. They did some silly posing for me and they really had a hard time keeping themselves from smiling. I love this pose so much and I love my irreplaceable grandkids so much!
