A charming cafe in Colorado Springs near the UCCS college campus.  It is the favorite dining spot for many Colorado Springs residents.  We hope it makes it back after the corona virus. It  has been so hard on the locals.

In Colorado Springs, the Broadmoor is one of the European 5 star hotels known worldwide. I pass it often and think of interpretive, whimsical ways to portray it.  Since I love umbrellas it seemed appropriate to add them with the slapping rain.  This is the third one and is slightly different from the other two which are sold.  Now if you stay at the Broadmoor, please think of this painting and smile.

The falls are about 20 ft high and can be seen from the highway. The lavender foggy sky made the lush landscape look greener than ever and the mist fell on our raincoats and umbrellas. Aaah!
