Sentinel at the Garden

In Colorado Springs is a beautiful natural rock formation named Garden of the Gods. If you are near it you can get a photo of the Garden plus Pike's Peak behind it as well. If you are there in the winter and go to the visitor center, it is just breathtaking. If you go in the evening and the sun is setting, the rocks glow orange. My inspiration with the wolf was to add some life. The painting is cool, but the animal makes it warm. This painting sold at the Sangre de Cristo Art Center in Pueblo, Colorado but is now available for prints

Sunflowers and Stripes

10' X 11'  watercolor   SOLD

In a gallery high on the 4th floor, brimming with good northern light, sunflowers were aranged in a giant pot.  I remember thinking how the day was so warm and being thankful for friends and family.  I can never get enough of their love, hugs and comradry, can you?  I want to dedicate 1/2 of the proceeds of  this painting to all who are hungry,  in war zones or who are unprotected and vulnerable.   I love you, whoever you are.
