Bathed In Light

6" x 6"   watercolor      $50.00

I asked Nancy Wylie for permission to paint her precious granddaughter.  She graciously said "yes".  This is my first renditions of this little one, however I don't feel I captured the innocence.  But I did capture the light, which was important to me.  It seemed that no matter how many times I layered color on the face it wasn't dark enough  Now it may be too dark.  Oh well.  It was worth the try and loved the exciting process.  Maybe I will take one more stab at it.

Soft Smoke and Persimmon

10.5 x 14.5  watercolor   SOLD

The energy emitted from this lovely Spanish dancer and her flouncy skirts makes for a passionate painting.

I love the smokey indigo and indian red together.  The painting is earthy and uscious.

"The Angel and the Dove"

10" x 12"  watercolor and ink on 140 lb watercolor paper    SOLD

They have become fast friends, gliding the colorful skies, finding ways to help those who need their help.  Sometimes the angel whispers to the dove in spiritual language that only those with wings can understand.  The dove coos softly.
