Staying in Walter's home on the golf course in Rancho Santa Marguerita, CA, was like being in an Italian villa home.  His accoutrements were soothing and comfortable and elegantly tasteful.  I felt like the queen mother!  This was a photo of his buffet with Italian tapestry on the wall.

Interesting liquor bottles displayed on a beautiful inlaid wooden console with a hanging tapestry and sunlight streaming through the windows.  Walter's house was beautiful with Italianate furnishings and lovely light.
