Watermelon Chunks

11" x 14"  watercolor  still life  watermelon  $65.00

All I can think of when I see chunks of ruby red melon is the slurp factor, and chin drips.  Summer means relaxing and leaving cares behind, delighting in the sounds, shapes, fragrance and color provided by old sol.

"Lapacho Tree"

9" x 9"  mixed media  $45.00

Rosey colored blossoms on a tree so frothy, so cotton candy and raspberry ice cream all at the same time.   This is where I want to sit, underneath the blossoms, and let them drip onto my head and surrround me like a bed of silken garments and I will lay down and slumber for 1000 years in a South American country where they grow.   Just call me Rip Van W.  Or call me Winkle.  I like that!
Close to wrinkle, but not quite.  Cuter than wrinkle for sure!
