Aspen trees are alluring to me.  I hear that they are like a weed, growing quickly, putting out lots of shoots, and being susceptible to pests and problems.  However they are like magic to me in the autumn because of the way the light blazes through the brilliant heart shaped leaves.

We have aspens all around our home in Colorado. These aspens are outside my window and after a heavy snow, everything is delicately beautiful and serene.
